Some basic doula info.

My name is Jamie Wallace. I have been married to my wonderful, supportive husband since 2000 and we have 3 children. I am a labor/birth doula in the process of obtaining certification from Cappa. I serve the areas of Northwest Alabama, Northeast Mississippi and Southern Middle Tennessee. I have had a desire to work in the birthing field since having my own children.
I have recently joined partnership with 5 other wonderful doulas at The Shoals Doula Group. We serve areas within a 125 mile radius of Florence AL. Contact us to set up a free consultation with our doulas.
As a doula, I am able to provide informational, emotional, physical support in an un-biased way during the birth that you choose, and support the choices that you make. I want women to be more informed and be able to experience things that I missed out on during the births of my 3 children. Their births weren't traumatic, per se, just sort of blah!! It was because no one told me any different and I didn't do enough research. With that said, the most important thing is that they were all born healthy and without complications!!
I am also able to provide breastfeeding support.
I look forward to meeting potential couples and discussing your birth preferences to see if we would be a good match to work together on your birth team. Please contact me for a no-obligation consultation.
