Jammer's Skate-N-Fun Center

Jammer's Skating was built in 1948, making it the oldest skating rink in the southeastern USA. Jammer's Skate-N-Fun Center of Orangeburg, SC is an indoor roller rink, featuring the original well maintain maple floor, with a great sound and lighting system. The rink has gone under a major renovation over the last decade, turning it from a simple skating rink to a complete family fun center offering other activities. The fun center is open year round. The center has a complete pro shop that can make onsite repairs, as well to assist you in finding the right pair of skates for your ability and style of skating. The center also has a jam skating team that competes at a national level. The facility has been voted the best family entertainment place in the 3 county area for 10 years.


Activities offered at our facility

This family facility offers several activities. Roller skating has always been the main attraction, but we also offer an indoor soft play playground, 2 novelty counters and over 30 arcade / redemption games to play. For our Skating customers, we offer a 9,000 square foot maple floor and have 800 pair of house skates available to rent. The skate floor features 16 speakers to provide enough musical sound on the busiest sessions and a light show that will dazzle the kids. The playground features a 12' slide, a bounce room, a rope swing and an obstacle maze. Some of the many arcade games offered here are: DDR machines, skeeball, air hockey, basketball and many other fun arcades to play. Our 2 novelty counters offer all sorts of flashing light pieces, prank / joke novelties, and inflatables for sale or trade in the tickets you have won playing some of our many redemtion arcade games.


Having a party or event?

Why not have your party or event at Jammer's Skate-N-Fun Center? We can make our skating rink and other activities available to you for birthday parties, holiday parties, corporate events, church outings and school funraisers and incentive programs. We offer 2 different birthday party packages that allow you to enjoy your day with your child and let us do all the work. Most birthday parties are held during public skating sessions on the weekends and require a minimum one week advance notice and reservation deposit paid. The facility is also available for private rental for large birthday parties or groups. Private parties require advance booking of a few weeks. Dress Codes, important information, etc.

No tobacco product use in our building.

We have a strict dress code for everyone entering out building. Socks must be worn by all persons that rent skates or use our indoor playground. We do not allow tank tops, strap tops, halter tops, see thru shirts, etc in our building. All shirts must come to atleast the edge of the shoulder. This includes dresses with straps as well. No short shorts are allowed in our building.

Do not drop children off more then 10 minutes before we open for business. Everyone must be picked up at the close of the session promptly. Anyone that has not been picked up within 10 minutes of our closing time, may be banned from our facility and have authorities call to assist these children.

The playground is open at limited times during the afternoon sessions only. If your visit to our place centers around using our playground, please call the rink in advance to make sure it will be open to the general public for use that afternoon.

We do not accept checks of any kind. We now have an ATM machine on the premises. We accept cash, credit and debit. We only take credit / debit at the front admission counter, we are not set up for these in other places in our building. If you need additional cash to use in our building, please use our ATM machine located at the front admission window area before entering our building. The ATM machine in our lobby charges a small usage fee of only $1.25.
