This is a typical comment heard from customers at Janis Jewelry, Gifts and Unique Handbags in Historic Downtown Newberg.This boutique style shop has very reasonable prices and merchandise everyone can love and afford!

Janis' mission is to find items that are different, but practical and usable. Like the Loofa soaps, soap and loofa in one "Spa in a Bag", in a variety of scents. The only downside is they're addicting!

In about 18 months, Janis has become known for "The Largest Selection of Unique Handbags in Yamhill County." Having a self-proclaimed "purse fetish" the daily issue for her is: "Should I keep it or sell it?"

Recently expanded, the shop now boasts a seating area for relaxation, reading the paper, or having a cup of coffee. As well as a childrens play area, to keep the little ones occupied while Mom shops! (or Dad since we do have Man Shelves too!)

She thought it was important to carry a good deal of locally handcrafted items, and she does! Quite a variety and quite a bit of quality!

Because it has more of a boutique feel, locals weren't sure if the prices would reasonable, but to their great pleasure they are!
