JBCs

JBCs was born from the imagination of our son who likes to cook and have fun in the kitchen. When JB was six years old, he impressed us with several food creations which we made and enjoyed. These original recipes, and many more since, inspired our business and “Confections With a Conscience.”

The creations dreamed up by our children differ from what you will find at most stores and bakeries. Our offerings all have a unique twist, many with no established recipe and some still in the process of becoming a reality. JBs youthful ignorance means that he doesn’t let status quo stop him from generating ideas.

Our treats are also made from the most natural, local, and nutritious ingredients we can find. Eating healthy is important to us, and we think it should be for our customers too. Check out our Ingredients page for more information on what we use.

Can a child really cook? The answer is yes, if you give them the space and tools to do it (and be right there to help guide them and keep them safe!) Our kids love to cook and bake, so they are leading the process of experimentation and recipe refinement here at JBCs. As we learn (through success and failure), we will publish pictures, recipes, and new treats.

More than anything, our children really want to make you smile, so please give us your feedback.
