Jeepers For The Creatures

Our mission is to raise awareness and funds for shelter animals. The animals are in need of good homes full of love and everything they need to have a happy life. "Pulling/tagging" an animal from the shelter by rescue groups is an expensive process. Rescue groups vet, spay/neuter, and make sure the animals are ready for adoption for suitable homes. This becomes very expensive and raising awareness of these events prior to adoption is critical in our community, especially having a high-kill shelter in the parish.

SLJA's members are not only jeep lovers, but lovers of animals. SLJA will be hosting an annual event to create an awareness that animals are for life anf are a major responsibility. By bringing the community together, we can accomplish this task.

The organizations we are supporting are Animal Advocates of St. Mary and the Franklin Animal Shelter. All monetary and other donations will be distributed to these organizations.
