Jeff Speakman's Kenpo 5.0 North Bay is a skilled Kenpo club in Santa Rosa. We teach Jeff Speakman's 5.0 system of American Kenpo, a Martial Art specializing in self-defense, sparring and forms. JSK North Bay has four Black Belts teaching daily with over 35 years combined teaching experience. Our main goal is to teach an effective fighting system with both modern-day and traditional philosophies of self-defense. Jeff Speakman's Kenpo 5.0 North Bay begins its journey with four Black Belts directly under the instruction of Mr. Jeff Speakman.

Ms. Renee Row joined her first Kenpo class in October, 2002 and earned her Black Belt from Mr. Speakman in June, 2007. After a hiatus from Kenpo, Ms. Row returned to training and is currently working towards her next degree. She has her MBA, is a cancer survivor and a mother of two teenage boys.

Mr. Jason Bates started training in Kenpo in September, 2003 and earned his Black Belt from Mr. Speakman in June, 2007. Mr. Bates is currently working towards his next degree. Mr. Bates has a Master's Degree and works as a Program Manager. He is a Navy veteran and has two teenage boys.

Miss Samantha French started Kenpo at the age of 12. She currently holds the distinction of being the first Jeff Speakman Universal Black Belt in Sonoma County and earned that degree in 2005. Miss French earned her adult Black Belt in 2009. She is well versed in the Universal kids curriculum. Miss French is currently working towards her next degree. She is a college student at SRJC.

Mr. Patrick O'Shaughnessy earned his Jeff Speakman Black Belt in 2005 and has the distinction of being the first Jeff Speakman Black Belt from Sonoma County to test for his rank in Las Vegas. He is currently working towards his next degree. Mr. O'Shaughnessy is well established in Santa Rosa and has worked for the same company for 19 years. He has a wife and two kids; an 18 year-old son and a 16 year-old daughter.
