Clinic manager Gloria Martinez, and ortho manager Erica Jaloma make a great time. For the past 12 and 7 years, respectively, they've been loyal JDC employees. Now they co-manage our Garland location where they offer great service on both general and ortho treatments. Together, they guide their staff in educating patients on their needs and treatment options. They also make it a top priority to put patients at ease about receiving prescribed treatments. With a thorough explanation in tow, they work tirelessly to ensure that patients will be satisfied with their end product. In Gloria's words, "Patients often come to us with really bad prior experiences under their belts. They're both nervous and in pain. Many have avoided seeing a dentist for years, but the pain eventually becomes too overwhelming to ignore. Sometimes all they need is a compassionate hand to hold through their treatments. I'm glad we can provide one." Erica has a similar take, saying "Most of the patients I see are young teens with severe crowding that's clearly affecting their self-esteem. Some refuse to laugh or even smile! Through orthodontics treatments, we bring them up as we build their smile. We just love see the change in their self-esteem. I also have a strong affinity for my older patients, many of whom think they are too old to have braces and are reluctant to receive treatment. Our stance has always been that you are never too old to have the smile you always wanted. It's really rewarding to see how a new smile transforms their whole life."
