Zaira Carrillo and Sara Rodriguez make quite a team. Together they run the dental and ortho practices at our Abrams clinic, and have since 2009 and 2012 respectively. Each manager and their staff take customer service very seriously, and strive for excellent patient care. By making their guests feel comfortable and personalizing their treatment plans, each patient feels like the important individual they are. And it's teamwork that makes the difference. Not only is staff is very attentive, they operate like a family. During consultations they develop these same deep bonds with patients, focusing on overall care not just on the treatment itself. This is especially true of younger patients like children. That's why Zaira, Sara and staff offer specialized care for kids. To avoid trauma, and make the experience of going to the dentist as pleasant as possible, they sit with younger patients and carefully explain dental procedures in language they can fully process. Older patients also come in very nervous and afraid during these consults. The team reassures them and eases their fears, making sure they understand that staff will address pain management so all they have to do is look forward to the end result. But this level of care doesn't end as soon as patients leave the dentist's chair. The Abrams team keeps up with their patients, creating a very personal connection in their follow up efforts. When it comes to orthodontics, the early stages, and specifically consultation sessions, can be lengthy. However being as thorough as possible helps staff ensure patients fully understand the scope of the work, and leave with a full understanding of how their bite currently looks and how JDC can fix it. Visits are quick and convenient after the initial consultation, and staff are inspired and motivated by the fact that they are giving people the smiles that they've always wanted.
