I am here to train you to be your best self and to reach your fitness goals. Regardless if your goal is to increase lean muscle mass, enhance your performance, or simply regain functionality and postural strength, I will help you get there. With the sedentary lifestyle that is more common than ever before, it is vital that people train their bodies to move in all planes of motion without the fear of injury. Injuries are too common today, with individuals throwing out their backs by reaching for a pencil; pulling their shoulders by hefting too heavy a box; pinching a nerve due to poor posture when they do train.

We will train in a progressive manner, from easy and simple to more intense and complicated. There will be questions and assessments and programs designed around your goal. We will not breach territory in which you are uncomfortable, but I am here to make you better, to improve your abilities and your strength, and your belief in yourself. You will be pushed, and you will grow. But I promise that my job is to help you reach YOUR goals. In so doing, your ability to enjoy your life and do activities will increase. Your goals may change as we train, but that is to be expected, and we will track your progress weekly or monthly, depending on how frequently we meet and the length of the time it will take to reach your goal.

Most of the work we will be doing will involve body weight, free weights, medicine balls, stability balls, push up stands, pull-up bars, etc. Many individuals do not have the money to invest in machines and so I do not often train with them. Many people do not always have the time to go a gym, and although I believe in the atmosphere and being around like-minded people with similar fitness goals, having exercises and a program that can be done in more than one location, given certain amenities, increases the likelihood of compliance and commitment to the programs.

Each session is an hour. Our first session will involve a discussion so that we may get to know one another, and so that I may have a better idea of what you intend to achieve and what you expect to receive out of our business relationship. From there, you will be assessed, and therein will the program be designed around your abilities so that we may progress towards your goal.

Remember that fitness is more than simply aesthetics. It is the building block on which a healthy, full life is built. Take care of yourself, take care of your body, and it will take care of you. I am here to help you reach your goals, and to help you make S.M.A.R.T. ones (Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic, Timely). Changing your lifestyle behaviors can be simple, although not always easy, but once decided and acted upon – and committed to – a world of opportunities awaits you.
