Himalaya restaurant is family owned / operated and is a perfect spot for lunch and dinner. After working over a decade in many restaurants we decided to open our own authentic Himalayan Restaurant and serve home style cooking with natural herbs and spices from the Top of the World.



I Geljen Nuru Sherpa, the owner of the Himalaya restaurant have vast experience in serving and managing numbers of restaurants, and I want to use my skills and knowledge in preparing the most healthy food for our daily diet with low fat and carbohydrates.I learned a lot while I was working for other people , and learned the best way to serve our customers.I believe that our customers deserve the best in every way including the environment, cleanliness, service, quality, and freshness of the food.



Our comfortable and cozy dining, family friendly atmosphere and full menu of specialties will deliver the package with all the above mention. Our food is made fresh from scratch and is delivered to the table. At our restaurant, We serve Vegan, Vegetarian, a vegetarian, sea food dishes and also gluten free option with choices of spice level.



Since we opened the Yorktown Heights location we are able to earn popularity of our cuisine and getting crowd more often.So, we decided to bring Himalayan Taste to southern Westchesters .where we already have many customers who drives all the way to YTH.At both of our locations we show cultural documentary and live cultural show so that we can share our culture,tradition and heritage with our customers.
