Joan Sears, Hyde County Artist

Hyde County native Joan Sears is an award-winning decoy carver and artist, specializing in watercolor, oil, acrylic, and other media in an art career spanning more than four decades.

Come by and view her work at the new gallery and studio, which is conveniently at The Academy on Highway 264 West at Lake Landing.

Hourly classes for all ages are available during regular studio hours and by appointment.
