Out here under open sky, things are much as they have always been, and the stage is set for unbounded possibility – by seeing and realizing the best in all of us. At John Knox Ranch, we hold that time spent outdoors and away from city lights provides a unique setting in which we can recognize our truest and best selves. We’ve preserved a special place for people to gather to learn, have fun and grow.

There’s a reason that since the beginning of time, so many of our best stories, inventions and friendships have begun with a gathering around the campfire. Whether you’re taking your first steps in a new direction, completing a journey, or anything in between, we hope you’ll join us in the spirit of shared discovery. While you are here, these 300 acres are yours to fill with faith, friends, family, and unforgettable experiences.

John Knox Ranch is a Christian camp, conference, and retreat center. We are rooted and grounded in the history and tradition of the Presbyterian Church and the Reformed Protestant faith. To our Presbyterian understanding, precisely because this is a Christian place, absolutely everyone is fully welcome. We welcome you in the name of Jesus Christ, who welcomed all people into the grace of God. So we hope to as well. We do not want the public misuse of Christian language to delude you and thus exclude you from the Christian love we intend. We do not assume or presume you to be Christian. Our hope is that we would be Christians toward you.
