Johnny V’s offers all of America’s favorite sandwiches under one roof. For years, countless hours were spent perfecting those iconic sandwiches. Because America is full of great sandwich shops, we knew we had to be faithful to the originals yet find a way to raise the bar to become better than the best. We found a way to bring these great sandwiches to Northwest Arkansas. Anyone longing for a taste of home will be able to find their city’s favorite sandwich at Johnny V’s.

We have the Best Pastrami Sandwiches in NWA! Our Pastrami is cured for 21 days using the original slow method. Then off to the smoker for 6 hours and finally finished in a steam bath for an additional 12 hours.

Our Cheesesteak is shaved fresh daily, dusted with Johnny V's steak seasoning, then grilled to order just like in South Street. Our Italian is slow roasted to a perfect mid rare then finished in our gravy that has over 16 secret spices.

Our chef, Gene McWilliams was born in Cicero, IL, and grew up just south of Chicago. His passion and love for great food can be attributed to his Italian mother, who never stopped cooking delicious meals.

As an adult, Gene has been very fortunate to travel throughout the U.S. and feed his culinary passions in many different locations by sampling most of America's favorite sandwiches, signature dishes, and local fare. He would discover what food a city was famous for, taste the item, watch and learn how the dish was made, and then return home to try and recreate those amazing flavors himself.

Chicago, Philadelphia, and New York were the cities where Gene tasted some of the best sandwiches ever. Since he grew up in Chicago, his love for Italian beef was virtually genetic; when he was in south Philly, he ate the authentic cheesesteak, and WOW! what a great sandwich. In New York, he sampled some of the best pastrami in the world.

It is Johnny V's mission to stay true to the classics but make them even better.
