On June 21, 1999 within the confines of an intimate 35 seat restaurant space, Johnny's Half Shell opened in Dupont Circle. Now in its third incarnation, Johnny's has opened in the familiar Adams Morgan neighborhood of northwest, Washington, D.C. Renditions of Chesapeake and Gulf seafood remain the kitchen's focus, and Chef Ann Cashion and partner John Fulchino continue to maintain the restaurant's homespun conviviality.
