Joltin' Jo's

Joltin Jo’s Espresso was founded in December 2005. Joe and Jody Frazier saw a need in their community of McCook, Nebraska for a specialty coffee store. After finding the perfect location, they set out to fit a perfect coffee bean to their idea of what makes an “awesome” cup of coffee. What they discovered was Daz Bog Coffee roasters in Denver, Colorado. There they found a true Arabic bean that is roasted to taste as good as coffee smells! They then chose to not “automate” their way of making espresso drinks. They still freshly grind, tamp and make each espresso drink individually unique. One of the featured drinks for Joltin Jo’s is the Bison 45. This drink was named after the town mascot and their son’s high school and college football number of “45″. There are many drinks to choose from even if you aren’t a coffee drinker. Frappes, and smoothies are a big hit with the young crowd who visit everyday after school, since Joltin Jo’s is only a few blocks from the high school.
