Jonathan is passionate about helping people buy and sell land. He is a partner at Southeastern Land Group, LLC (SELG) and is the Responsible Broker for the company in Mississippi. Jonathan is an Accredited Land Consultant (ALC), working with Southeastern Land Group (AlaLandCo) since 2008, serving Alabama and Mississippi. He is a member of the Alabama and Mississippi chapters of the Realtor’s Land Institute (RLI), and is the immediate past president of the Alabama Chapter. Jonathan specializes in marketing rural properties online, and is a contributor for Landthink.com, writing articles focused on helping people buying and selling rural land.

He is a graduate of the University of West Alabama studying environmental science and chemistry. He and his family live near Marion in Perry County, Alabama, where they enjoy living the simple country life a small town affords. Jonathan is married to Whitney, and has two children, John David and Laura Beth. Their family attends Marion Presbyterian Church.

Jonathan serves both institutional and private landowners, and is experienced with 1031 like-kind exchanges, self-directed IRA purchases, timberland investments, agricultural land and recreational properties. One of SELG’s top producers, he has helped his clients close scores of real estate deals, and as a result knows how to find ways to help buyers and sellers negotiate a win-win deal.
