Jones Marine was chartered by the State of North Carolina in 2001. During the first 5 years of operation we were stocking dearlers for Laveycraft, Triton, Mercury, Mercruiser, and Mercury Racing. The recession and general economic climate, together with manufacturers demands to maintain large inventories, was the basis for JMI to become a full service, non-stocking, marine service business. This change in business plan allowed JMI to survive and grow during a period many boat dealers closed thier doors.JMI has made a continuous effort to invest in the latest tooling, test/diagnostic equipment, and facilites to repair and service boats and motors ranging from classics to the latest EFI technology in all brands.
