Jorma Kaukonen's Pho Peace Restaurant

If you are not familiar with Pho (pronounced Phở or pho or fa) you can check out the menu on this page. It is a Vietnamese noodle soup consisting of broth, linguine-shaped rice noodles called bánh phở, a few herbs, and meat, primarily served with either beef or chicken. It is very popular in big cities and happens to be Jorma’s favorite kind of food. He has searched out every Pho restaurant in every major city in the US when he’s on tour and he does have his favorites. Jorma came back from a tour on the east coast in May of this year with a menu from his favorite Pho haunt called, The Golden Cow. He asked our amazing Chef, Justin Berry to create his own take on this wonderful soup and it knocked us out. We’d been tossing around the idea of opening the Ranch kitchen for lunches for years and this soup …Justin’s soup… made it easy to finally make that decision.
