Joseph Barr Golf Instruction

Along with being the Head Golf Professional, I am also the Head Men’s and Assistant Women’s Golf Coach for Asbury University.
About Me, I was born in Versailles, KY, where I learned to play golf at Woodford Hills CC known now as Moss Hill GC. I played golf at Woodford County High school where playing in American Junior Golf Association (AJGA) events I was able to achieve an All-American award. In having a successful junior career I was able to obtain a Golf scholarship to the University of Kentucky. While at UK I lettered four seasons and was a 5-time All-SEC Academic honor roll. After completion of my degree at UK I played professionally for a few years until I took jobs as both Head Professional at Moss Hill Golf course and Head Golf Coach at Asbury University. I currently reside in Lexington, KY where I live with lovely wife Tiffany Barr.
