Journey Clinic

Journey Clinic was founded in September of 2009 by Dr. Nelson and her husband to create a place where patient care is the #1 priority. At Journey Clinic the goal is to not only treat patients but to really know them and develop lasting relationships.

Dr. Nelson is an Oklahoma Native that attended Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma as well as Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana. She received her medical training in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the Oklahoma State University Center for Health Sciences. Dr. Nelson then traveled to Columbus Ohio to complete her five year General Surgery Residency at Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine. After completing her residency, Dr. Nelson completed a fellowship program in Laparoscopic Gastrointesitnal Surgery in Tampa, Florida at the University of South Florida College of Medicine. In 2005, Dr. Nelson returned to Oklahoma, where she currently practices at Journey Clinic and in conjunction with Norman Regional Health Systems.
