Journey House Sober Living

All residents are required to work hard towards recovery, and to interact positively with new housemates and community members. Residents will not use alcohol or other drugs, will obtain and maintain employment, will perform household chores, etc., and will make every effort to become productive members of society! There is a 5 hour / month community service requirement. Residents may stay as long as they wish, and staff are available for support in the beginning with employment, healthcare, etc., and in the end, with transitioning to independence, and at all points in between!

There is a 30-day probationary period where residents must be in the house between 10pm and 6am. If residents miss curfew, violate house rules, or are otherwise disruptive they will be placed on “contract” with the hopes that they will be able to maintain residence in the house and continue to grow in their recovery.

Residents in need of medical services, psychiatric care, or social services will get referrals and resources for those services upon entry. Help in obtaining employment and health insurance is also available.
