As an artist with more than 30 years' experience, Susan Shaffer has always believed in the healing power and positive influence of creating art. Not only can it unlock inner creativity and let uniqueness shine, but it can also be incredibly therapeutic. So when Susan turned her personal studio into Joyful Arts Studio in 2012, she knew she wanted to share those benefits with her community. Today, Joyful Arts is home to a wide range of classes, party hosting, and a gallery-gift shop full of Susan's wares. In Susan's classes and art therapy sessions, artists of all skill levels receive detailed instruction and hands-on assistance as they explore new media, express their individuality, and allow their artistic vision to blossom. Visit the studio, and you'll be stepping into a place that feels like home -- because it is.
