Our Mission:
The curriculum is designed around the four common objectives of Kodokan Judo:
1. PHYSICAL DEVELOPMENT: Students develop strong, healthy bodies through a supervised program of Judo training.
2. COMPETITION: Students prepare and train with the option to participate in local, state and national and international competitions.
3. SELF-DEFENSE: Judo has a worldwide reputation as effective self defense art.
Students learn to apply " maximum efficiency - minimum effort". Students learn confidence to avoid the most common reason for fighting- the need to prove oneself.
4. CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT: Judo builds a strong physical and moral character. The etiquette of bowing demonstrates and reinforces the Judo principal of "mutual respect". Students will learn self-control, courtesy and respect for others.
