Junior League of Northern Virginia

Our roots run deep into the community and have for more than fifty years. The JLNV is also part of a larger organization, the Association of Junior Leagues International (AJLI). For over 100 years, the AJLI has worked to foster a spirit of involvement to improve communities worldwide. We join the more than 300 leagues in the United States and around the world, including Canada, Mexico, and Great Britain. Worldwide membership is more than 200,000 and growing.

Founded in 1958 as the Service League of Arlington
Admitted to the AJLI in 1985
Members come from Arlington, Fairfax, Loudon, Faquier, and Prince William counties in Northern Virginia as well as Maryland and the District of Columbia.
We focus our effort at helping prepare children in Northern Virginia for success.
