WHO IS JL??

JL is me, I am Jenni, the photographer behind the Lens.

A little about me..I am a mom of 5 and a "Gammy" to 5 grand-kids, and of course a mom of TWO big babies..my German Shepherd and my English Mastiff. I have been married for 20 years to my best friend Kevin. I truly believe that my experience as a mom and wife has given me that special something, that special understanding to find the patience and light in my Newborn and Family photography. Of course I can give you the perfect pose, but what I really love is to give YOU, is a moment caught in an image.

What is Juniper Lane?

Juniper Lane is my home. It is where my family and friends are welcome and where your family is welcome. it is where we share a wonderful conversation over coffee, while our children play. We laugh together, we cry together, we build friendships and memories. It is where we build relationships out of respect, understanding and friendship rather than the size of the wallet. Even though all households must have rules and an income to flourish, it is the relationships that are built here that mean more. Juniper Lane is always open and you are always welcome.

Studio or Outdoors?

Short answer..BOTH. I adore the golden light that I can only find in mother nature, and the versatility of locations can create and capture so much...but the classic light and privacy of my Findlay, OH based studio also has endless possibilities. I want to be able to give my clients options so that every session with me is creative, unique and different from the last.

Appointments or Walk ins?

I shoot by appointment because I like to take time to prepare for your session.

However, I do accept same day appointments if my schedule allows, so don't hesitate to ask!!

Do you only do Newborns and Family portraits?

I specialize in newborn and custom children's portraiture, families...however I also offer Wedding Packages at very reasonable prices! i am happy to recommend fantastic photographers in the area for other areas that are not my specialty:) My love for Newborns and Families comes from having a large family and I enjoy using my experience and knowledge of Families and Children to find special moments to capture for other parents. This is the area that I choose to schedule session work.

Though i value my time and expertise in what i do, I am also a mom of a large family and understand how portraits can sometime take a back seat when finances are tight. I also know what its like to under value the time we have on this earth with each other and that at anytime we can lose someone dear to us. It is through portraits that we can remember the people closest to us. This is why i keep my prices affordable and offer flexible payment options for my higher priced sessions, including weddings. I never want my clients to feel they have to sacrifice quality because of an unexpected financial strain. It is far more important to me to build lasting relationships with my clients, be there for them to document monumental life event like a Marriage or Union, the birth of a child, the graduating senior, or the image of gratifying moment after years of training. THAT will far outweigh a single session in my book.
