http://www.awalkintheparkhhi.com My name is Drew Kaufman and I am a graduate of Animal Behavior College where I earned my certification as an ABC Certified Dog Trainer. Animal Behavior College (ABC) is approved by the Bureau for Private Postsecondary and Vocational Education and is an internationally recognized school. My year-long commitment to this program has provided me with a formal education in canine obedience training and an understanding of behavior. My certification, education and experience provide me the skills required to effectively and humanely train your dog while keeping alive the spark that makes your dog so special to you.

As part of my certification requirements, I completed an externship at the Jasper Animal Rescue Mission in Ridgeland, SC.

In addition to training, Just a Walk in the Park offers the services of dog walking and pet sitting and is a member of Pet Sitters International.

Dog Walking

Weather your working, enjoying a long day trip, golfing, boating, or recuperating from an illness we can help provide peace of mind by walking your dog at the time (s) you request. This service is also helpful for seniors who may need additional help. We are very flexible and accommodating and understand the need for last minute request. All you have to do is call or text! There is no additional charge for multiple dogs.

Daily pet sitting visits

Everyone has concerns about their pets when they plan vacations or business trips. We can help eliminate those worries. Just a walk in the Park can visit your home once or multiple times a day, according to your wishes to provide optimum care for your pet. All our visits will make sure your pets are fed, watered, and provided plenty of love and exercise. If medications are needed, will administer them according to your directions. If you wish we can routinely provide emails, texts, or face time updates. We also bring in mail, newspapers, and water plants.

Overnight pet sitting

Your pets love your home as much as you do. Why disrupt their routine and yours by going back and forth to a kennel by putting your pet in a strange environment. We are insured and bonded and will stay in your home to care for your pet. Just a walk in the park will also visit your pet periodically throughout the day at no additional charge. Of course we will also take care of your mail and plants. We do our best to keep your dogs routine consistent and make your trip more stress free for both you and your pet.

Cat Sitting

Cats need daily attention as much as dogs. Even though we often think that cats can do without daily attention for a few days, its not really true. Food and water can run out and accidents can happen. Just a Walk In The Park will visit your cat at least once a day or more if desired. We will feed, water, provide medication (if needed) daily. We will also scoop the litter and clean up.
