Just Love Ministry

The changing conditions in the downtown area compelled the ministry to move its location to a community/residential setting on the eastside of Detroit in 2007. Dr. Rayford met the challenge of demonstrating the love of God within this community setting by providing weekly food distribution, Sunday afternoon worship services, hot meals provided by various church groups, weekly AA groups, prayer and counsel as needed. Towards the end of 2013, Dr. Rayford became aware that his role as Executive Director was changing and that it was time to take Just Love Ministry in new direction to address the needs of our community.
