KMC Indianapolis provides a peaceful and inspiring environment in which anyone regardless of background or belief can learn about and practice meditation and mindfulness.

Open to everyone, the KMC Indy offers a year-round program of meditation classes, day courses, and retreats that offer practical advice on how to apply Buddha's teachings to our daily activities. By integrating our experience of mindfulness and meditation into everything we do, life becomes less stressful, relationships become more stable and rewarding, and we can find meaning and purpose despite how challenging our life may be.

Founded in 1998, KMC Indy is a member of the New Kadampa Tradition – International Kadampa Buddhist Union (NKT-IKBU) which is an international association of Mahayana Buddhist centres founded by Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso. The aim of NKT-IKBU is to offer Kadampa Buddhism - an especially pure and practical presentation of Buddha's teachings - to the people of our modern world.
