Kaela Speicher Photography

Kaela Speicher is a multi-talented and accomplished photographer and artist serving the greater Pittsburgh area. She attended art school at the highly selective Tyler School of Art (Temple University) in Philadelphia. After completing one year at Tyler, she then transferred to Alfred School of Art and Design (Alfred University) in Alfred, NY. Kaela graduated Cum Laude from Alfred in 2010 with a Bachelors Degree in Fine Arts, with a concentration in Photography (film and digital), and with two minors: Art History and Equestrian Studies.

With her extensive background in fine arts, Kaela's photography has a unique and creative edge, which sets her work apart from more traditional photography. By having a heavy interest in Renaissance painting, her photography is directly influenced by natural light, well balanced yet intriguing compositions, with a close attention to detail and human emotion. Kaela feels that it is her job as a photographer to capture the subject in the most aesthetically engaging and creative way possible.
