Kanley Memorial Chapel, an interfaith facility, is located at the heart of Western Michigan University's main campus. Built in 1953, the building was made possible through a gift of the William Kanley Estate and is a symbol of the long-standing interest of the University in the complete education of its students. Kanley chapel has 2 spacious meeting/event rooms that can be accessed during the building's normal hours during the school year, as well as a full service kitchen and a 300 seat chapel equipped with sound system. All rooms (except chapel) are free for student organizations and WMU affiliates can use all amenities associated with the chapel at a discounted rate.
