Kanpai of Tokyo was founded in 1973 in Atlanta, Georgia as a traditional Japanese restaurant.

Each of the Kanpai of Tokyo restaurants offer Teppanyaki style of Japanese cuisine prepared at the customers' dining table. Our menus include various combinations of fresh beef, chicken, seafood, and vegetables seasoned with our exclusive specialty sauces and salad dressings.

Due to customer demand for the increasingly popular Teppanyaki style of Japanese cuisine prepared at the customers' dining table, the company has evolved into three thriving restaurants located in Chattanooga, Tennesee, as well as Greenville and Spartanburg, South Carolina - all in the Southeastern United States.
