Kari Schulte - Attorney at Law

I proudly joined Cook Vetter Doerhoff & Landwehr (www.cvdl.net) in 2005. We have a great firm and I have awesome partners. We care about our clients and work hard for each one.

I have experience in a wide variety of legal matters in both state and federal court - including personal injury, car crashes, wrongful death, class action, commercial litigation, probate, medical malpractice, product defect, pharmacy mis-fill and property cases. I also have an active estate planning practice.

Most recently, I have handled matters including helping a personal injury client obtain a significant jury award for injuries stemming from an automobile accident; resolving many personal injury cases before trial; representing over 60 plaintiffs in a defective medical device MDL; defending a number of employment discrimination cases; representing more than 5,300 servers and bartenders of Applebee's restaurant in a federal labor law class action; representing a class of millions of consumers in a cable television class action lawsuit; and representing a class of over a thousand in class action litigation relating to the unauthorized practice of law.

I was born and was raised in Jefferson City, Missouri, specifically the Brazito / Honey Creek area. My parents are Glen and Jane Propst. I attend Immanual Lutheran Church - Honey Creek. I graduated from Cole R-V, Eugene High School and the University of Missouri-Columbia, with an undergrad in business, an MBA and a law degree.

I am married to Matt Schulte, and we have four boys! I am active in the community, and have served on the Thrivent Mid-Mo Chapter Board (managing thousands of dollars that support fundraising efforts for those in need in our community), the Calvary Lutheran High School Board and on various boards and committees with my church and its school.

I have been recognized as a Rising Star by Missouri Super Lawyers and have a high rating with Martindale Hubble. I am active in the Missouri Bar, including work as a CLE instructor.
