Katherine DiPierro - Venly

I began working for Venly in the fall of 2014, and have been serving small to mid-sized businesses and organizations in the Berkshires since 2015. To date, I have provided free social media education to over 225 business members in the Berkshires and has worked intensively with 33 businesses.

I currently work one-on-one with several business leaders in the Berkshires, advising them on the best practices for ten of the most popular social media channels, including researching optimized keywords and hashtags, reviewing site analytics, creating and curating web content, and writing and editing Wikipedia articles. The businesses and organizations I serve benefit from search engine optimization, new opportunities to connect with other businesses in their community, and the satisfaction of knowing how to use Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and other channels to reach their desired audiences.

I am extremely knowledgeable about Facebook and Instagram advertising, Wikipedia editing, and the the best practices for businesses and nonprofits using social sites from Google Plus and LinkedIn to Facebook and Pinterest. I am passionate about education, and have delivered seminars at the Berkshire Chamber of Commerce, the Lee Chamber of Commerce, and to business groups in the Berkshires including Berkshire Business Builders and Mountain View Success Partners.

A Berkshire transplant,I first came to the Berkshires in 2000 and began working in the area in 2012. I am a 2012 graduate of the Berkshire Hills Internship Program (B-HIP), an intensive arts administration program managed through Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts (MCLA). Following my summer internship at the Clark Art Institute in Williamstown, Massachusetts, I worked for The Clark as remote social media assistant. In 2014, I was brought on to the Berkshire Cultural Resource Center at MCLA as the program coordinator for B-HIP and as a DownStreet Art marketing associate.
