Katie Behrend Berg Voice Studio

Katie Behrend Berg trained in voice, acting and dance in the BFA Musical Theatre Program at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts. She is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin Madison, with a degree in Theatre and Business. Katie has been performing for the past 15 years with local groups including University Theatre-Madison, Waukesha Civic Theatre, Lake Country Playhouse, Theatre on Main, Accent on Dance, To the Point, and the Arrowhead High School Broadway Company. Katie is the Lake Country Playhouse Education Director and Production Director for Brookfield Center for the Arts. Katie is knowledgeable in accessing and expanding your natural voice in a healthy way, and in providing tools to allow each performer to use their voice for a variety of musical styles. She strives to teach her students how to break down the components of great vocal and performance work, so they can learn to problem solve on their own voice and ultimately improve the performance as a whole. Students will become more confident in a safe, constructive and creative learning environment. In addition to being a ton of fun, an education in the arts helps develop countless vital life skills, which apply in all settings, not just on the stage.
