In Sanskrit, the ancient language of yoga, Kaya means "the physical body." Our studio is dedicated to helping people better understand their own Kaya through the art of yoga.
With a passion for helping students achieve personal growth, we create classes that offer the best yoga available for all students, from beginners to advanced.
Our classes are based in the Anusara Yoga® Tradition founded by John Friend. This dynamic style of Hatha yoga uses the biomechanical principles of alignment to build strength, flexibility, balance and coordination from the inside out. The student is encouraged to embrace the spiritual purpose of yoga by following their heart, and allowing themselves to "flow with grace." All classes begin with a meditative chant to still the mind and bring focus to the body, and end as they began, in a relaxing meditative state.
