Being an independent, small business owner has been in the Keller family for three generations. And all three generations kept their businesses in Croswell, Michigan.

It all began in 1950 when William A. Keller, Sr. began his business at 12 Wells Street. With his experience from working for the Internal Revenue Service, William served the Croswell community by providing tax preparation services for many years.

Frank A. Keller, Sr.
William's middle child, Frank Keller, Sr., graduated from Croswell High School in 1948 and enlisted in the Marines in 1949. During his time with the Marines, Frank attended Basic Electronics School and Radio School. With this knowledge he trained fellow Marines to scramble and unscramble radio waves and set up communications towers and destroy them, if necessary during war. These fellow Marines would be deployed during the Korean War. When Frank was honorably discharged in 1952, he returned to his hometown of Croswell. He started Keller TV and Radio in 1954. In the beginning, he worked out of the back of the 12 Wells Street building his father used for his tax preparation business. Due to Frank's honest work ethic and exceptional service, his business outgrew the space he had. Around 1970, he bought his own building in the current location of 33 North Howard Avenue in Croswell. Frank not only repaired TVs and radios, but he also began to install TV towers and antennas. A little more than 20 years into his business, Frank, Sr. was joined by his son, Frank, Jr., in the family business. By this time, the name of the business was shortened to Keller TV, or as the locals referred to it, Keller's. Over the years, Keller's has sold many different products, such as TVs, stereos, paint, wallpaper, floor covering to the latest technology in microwave ovens, Video Cassette Recorders, CD players, and on to DVD players. As the business adapted to meet the demands of its customers, Keller's became Keller TV and Appliance. The merchandise shifted from electronics to more of a home store by selling all types of appliances and mattresses. As Frank, Sr. reached retirement age, he handed over more of the business responsibilities Frank, Jr.

Frank, Jr. continued his father's legacy of treating his customers with respect and always giving them the fairest deal possible. Through the years, Frank, Jr. has acquired considerable experience during his 38+ years within the family business, and he also has experience outside the family business in the areas of roofing, siding, windows, and general home renovation. Through his many contacts, he has been able to set up contracts with companies that will allow him to give customers a fair deal with outstanding customer service to back it up.

In 2013, Keller TV and Appliance became known as Keller's Home Center. Frank, Jr.'s vision for the business is to take it to the next level and offer his customers home services, such as roofing, siding, windows, doors, and indoor renovations. Keller's Home Center is also able to reach beyond the boundaries of Croswell and Southeast Michigan to 14 other states through this web site.
