Kelsey's Lakeside Grille

Kelsey's Lakeside Grille is overlooking beautiful Lake Charlevoix. We are near Irish Boat Shop & Ferry Beach.

Kelsey's originally opened in 1982 as "Nanny's Old Place". A few years later patrons knew it as "Nanny's", a place that was fun, local, and always open.

Kelsey Barnard grew up in Charlevoix and the restaurant was part of his life from the day he was born, named after his great-grandmother "Nanny". Nanny's was sold in 2003 and in 2009 re-opened as Kelsey B's, in remembrance of a great 15 year old whose life was cut short by a tragic car crash.

Kelsey was known for his great competitive spirit, athletic abilities and many friends. He was always a positive influence, loved and respected by adults and kids alike. Kelsey's dream was to someday ski with the US Olympic Team, but he also loved soccer, jet skiing, boating, and the water.

Kelsey's Lakeside Grille is a fun, friendly place that you can return to often. We proudly offer a clean establishment to share good food & spirits, conversation & good times.
