Kendall Station

The Kendall Cogeneration Station is located in Cambridge, Mass. The Kendall Cogeneration Station has a production capacity of 256 megawatts. Cogeneration is the production of two or more forms of useful energy from a single fuel source. The Kendall Cogeneration Station uses natural gas as the primary fuel source that is converted to both electrical and steam, a useful thermal energy. The steam is sold for heating and cooling into Cambridge and the Greater Boston area.
