My workshops are beneficial for those in the veterinary profession because I have been on the frontlines of animal care. I am a speaker, consultant, writer and healer, but, first and foremost, a veterinarian, now retired, who studied at UC-Davis and practiced in small and large animal settings and at the animal shelter in Sacramento. My understanding of regulatory control for the veterinary profession is complemented by my role as an advocate for the industry in Washington. I am based in the foothills of the Smoky Mountains, and travel nationwide to bring workshops - especially compassion fatigue - and consulting services to clinics and shelters.
