Ken's Farrier Service

Ken McAllister is an AFA Certified Farrier with more than 10 years of experience. He works on horses, donkeys, and mules of all disciplines in Hickman, Maury, Dickson, Williamson, and surrounding counties in Middle Tennessee.

Ken works hard to keep all of his client's horses as sound as possible. He evaluates each horse's unique physiology and trims or shoes it in a way that accommodates its conformation and movement. Ken offers both hot shoeing and trimming services. He is also equipped to work with you and your vet when therapeutic hoof care is needed.

Ken keeps his skills current by regularly attending farrier clinics. He is also a member of the Music City Horseshoers and the World Championship Blacksmiths. He enjoys competing in several horseshoeing competitions each year.
