The Kentucky Watercolor Society was formed in 1977 to promote water media as an important medium in the arts community and to provide support and educational opportunities for water media artists. To that end, KWS sponsors exhibitions, competitions and workshops for professional, hobbyist, and beginning artists. The Kentucky Watercolor Society is a non-profit, nationally recognized, all-volunteer organization. Please "like" our page to stay informed on what KWS offers both members and non-members alike. Visit our website, kentuckywatercolorsociety.org, for information on upcoming workshops, competitions, membership, Member artists and our KWS Gallery & Studio. Our working gallery is located in the heart of beautiful Louisville, Kentucky and is home to our KWS workshops. At our website you will also find full-color copies of our KWS Newsletters, published quarterly.
