For half a century, Key Auto Company has been privileged to serve the automotive needs of generations of First Coast families and friends. On this, our Golden Anniversary, we want to give a special thanks to you, our customers and friends, for your continuing support, and for making us a part of your families, just as you are part of ours.

Key Auto Company was originally operated on Phillips Highway. When Tom Perry Sr. passed away in 1979, son Tom Perry Jr. became president of the company - moving the dealership to its current location on Southside Boulevard in 1985. Burnett was a certified public accountant, living in Knoxville, when her brother asked her to join him as business manager in 1995. Burnett took over as president of the company in May 2008. In addition to her role as CEO, Burnett also gives back to the community through her involvement with the non-profit agency, Community Connections, which she joined in 2007. She currently serves on the board, as co-chair of the agency’s board governance committee - and puts her previous experience as CPA to work as a member of its finance committee.

But whether it's a move to a new facility or the celebration of Key Auto Company's 50-year anniversary in Jacksonville this year, its low-key approach to publicity should come as no surprise to customers who have gone to Key for sales or service since its founding by Tom Perry Sr. in 1960. It's seasoned employees, low-key approach to sales and commitment to service that make Key Buick-Hyundai unique among most dealerships - a steady, reliable family-owned business that customers have come to know and trust for over 50 years.
