Kiddies' Korner

Kiddies' Korner Nursery School (KKNS), Inc. is a private, non-profit organization, licensed by the Pennsylvania Department of Education and run by a voluntary Board of Directors.

KKNS was created by a group of local parents in 1977. They wanted to provide a structured atmosphere where children have hands-on experience. KKNS is not a miniature first grade filled with abstract formal learning. Instead, we try to meet each child's needs through individualized instruction, as well as group activities such as games, songs, and crafts.

Currently, our staff (four of which are PA licensed teachers) have over 60 years combined experience. We offer 3 levels of classes: Tots, Nursery, and Pre-Kindergarten. Each level builds on the skills acquired in the previous program.

All classes include shared story time, play time, and group activities where the children are encouraged to cooperate and interact with both the teachers and the other children.

* Open House
* Spring Tea where the Pre-K classes prepare a luncheon for a special guest
* Graduation ceremony for Pre-K

* End of year Picnic
