Whether it's Pre-Kindergarten, Pre-School, Toddler, Infant Care, School-Age Before/After Care, Vacation Camps, or our exciting Summer Camp, we are committed to providing personal attentive education and care to your child throughout their childhood years. Our dedication to children is represented by over a decade of education and care to the children of our local Long Island community. We are pleased to be able to offer what we are confident are the finest childhood enrichment programs available.

Quality childcare and learning begins with quality programming. At Kids of Mount Sinai, each child receives the personal attention that will allow them to progress from the tentative beginning toddler to the confident, secure child who is prepared for kindergarten and beyond.

Kids of Mount Sinai uses the Pinnacle Early Childhood CurriculumTM which is based on the works of noted child development researchers Piaget, Gardner, and Erickson. Our curriculum is designed to meet specific learning objectives that will help each child move towards their potential as they explore and experiment with materials both within and outside of their classroom.

Classrooms:

*Toddlers (18 months-3 years)
A remarkable milestone is achieved as a child enters this stage of development. The ability to communicate is expanding and their need for independence and exploration is beginning to emerge. In our nurturing and secure environment, children acquire the language and social skills necessary for their formative preschool years ahead, all while having fun.

*Preschool (3-5 years)
THREES: Socialization, and self-esteem are emphasized. Our goal is to develop the skills that will enable a child to approach new situations and learning with an excitement that will carry forward to their school years ahead.
FOURS: As children prepare to enter kindergarten, a greater emphasis is placed on school readiness. This is accomplished while maintaining our non-judgmental, playful learning environment and providing the choices necessary for children to learn at their own pace.

*Infant Care (Ages 6 weeks & up)
In our safe, warm and stimulating home away from home environment your baby's every need will be cared for by our dedicated and loving nursery staff. Through carefully designed learning expediences which incorporate singing, talking, holding and playing, we will also nurture your child's growth and development throughout each and every day.

*School-Age Programs (Before Care & After Care for Grades K-4)
Our school-age curriculum takes into consideration the needs of this special group of older children. Opportunities are provided for students to interact with each other as they participate in activities that challenge their creativity in a social/recreational outlet. Whether they want to work on a creative art or computer project, play sports, do homework, or just relax in the “Chill Zone,” our curriculum provides a safe, fun environment where school age kids want to be!

*Summer Camp (Ages 18 months-15 years)
All programs and activities are carefully designed to accommodate the age and development level of each child, and to ensure the social, physical, and psychological gains available through their camp experience. Our programs are administered by an outstanding and dedicated staff whose members include certified teachers, childcare professionals, and mature personnel who are trained in the fields of camping, sports, academics and child guidance.
