Kids Play Flag Football

Todd Santos was a graduate of Selma High School and participated in athletics-football, baseball, and golf.Todd earned a football scholarship as a quarterback at San Diego State University. He was later inducted into Aztec hall of fame in 1996. He left college football as the NCAA all time leader in passing yards with 11,425 .He was the WAC player of the year in 1987 as well as an all American section by associated press and the sporting news. He lead the Aztecs to the 1986 Holiday bowl and was named MVP. San Diego State has retired his #8 jersey from competition. Todd set 27 NCAA , WAC and SDSU records during his college career. Todd was drafted by the New Orleans Saints in 1988 and he also played with the San Francisco 49'ers.

Todd as a young boy got his start by playing flag football. He says it gave him the chance to learn the basics and play several positions, both offense and defense. He enjoyed it so much that he continued to play flag football even after his professional career. Todd currently works for Riddell sports servicing the central valley.
