Creating associations that focuses on precision instruction to allow students to learn and understand techniques at an elevated level. We constantly strive to deconstruct our art to find out what techniques have the highest percentage of success for the general populous. This basically means that we take all the techniques and apply them at tournaments to find out the top 10% of techniques with the highest success rate. From there we narrow down that 10% to the top 5% techniques that can be adjusted to all body types and levels. That 5% is the key basis to learn in the beginning. I know it sounds crazy but when you deconstruct any art or any sport into its’ simplest form, it’s all about percentages for success. Great example is look at the world’s wealth. 95% of the world’s wealth is owned by 5% of the population. Wouldn’t you want to be that 5% with the highest wealth level of knowledge and application of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu? WE are not saying that we are not going to teach all the moves, we are saying that we will start the teaching process with that 5%.

Our association not only accepts but encourages outside knowledge and training. We do this to make sure that we are at the highest level of teaching and training. It would be crazy to think that we can only learn and train with those only within our associations. It also creates a stress and drama free environment for learning because you don’t feel the added pressure to only have our association’s instructors do seminars at your school. The less stress and drama one has, the easier it is to seek knowledge and learn. The knowledge learned can only help the association as a whole grow. We will constantly strive for the perfection of the art with the realization that we will never perfect it! This belief allows us the understanding that we are humble enough to admit we do not know everything, which makes us constantly search for the knowledge no matter where that knowledge is.
