Three years ago Katie was asked to teach a hip hop dance class at one of the
area schools. Katie immediately recognized the convenience of this type of
"traveling" program when she immediately had 14 kids sign up for her first class.
The children benefited from the enrichment program at their school, while
school administrators and parents appreciated the convenience of conducting
classes on site. Hence, the idea of a traveling dance company was born!
Coming Soon... Kind Performing Arts is very excited to announce the opening of
our new dance/music studio! While we will continue to bring music and dance programs
to local schools and recreation centers, we will also have a flagship studio conveniently
located at 1968 New Scotland Rd. in Slingerlands (in the Stonewell Plaza)!
