King Kreative Designs

Rocky & Claire King founded King Kreative Designs with the focus of creating furniture and spaces that are both functional and works of art. Our hope is that each piece of custom made furniture brings people together and the experience of helping design your custom piece holds a special place in your heart for years to come. Love, comfort, and creativity are the vision behind every piece we create.

Many of our pieces are made from 90 year old Black Walnut and/or 100 year old reclaimed Wormy Hole Chestnut. Black Walnut is a sought after material in furniture due to its durability and beauty. Wormy Hole Chestnut is considered a rare find as the tree itself has been extinct for over 90 years. Additionally we can create beautiful pieces in Oak, Pine, Maple, Cedar, Teak, Purple Heart, and much more.

In nature and over time, each piece of wood has its own unique character, be it knots, age rings, nail holes, milling marks, or scars. We accentuate the character of our wood and purposely build to the wood's individuality by avoiding covering these flaws during construction. By doing this, each KKD piece is encouraged to tell its own story and remains linked to its past.
