Kingdom Living Baptist Church

In 2009 Pastor Chefrun L. Joiner served as an associate pastor for Perfect Alternative Baptist for three years until he was called by God to pastor his own church. He began to hold bible study meetings in his home on Thursday nights. Soon after these gatherings, the first meeting was held on November 19, 2009, to discuss the matter of becoming officially incorporated as a church. Those attending were the Joiner family, the Austin family, and ShaNeda Cooley. The meetings grew to include the Castro family and individuals who sought to establish the church as envisioned by Pastor Joiner.

in 2010 we started the year with our first evangelism efforts at Peach Place Apartments in Mobile, Alabama. As membership increased we formed the Kingdom Kids Praise Team. As summer neared we saw a need to provide a summer care for neighborhood children. We conducted our first Kingdom Kids Summer Camp in the home of Pastor Joiner. On May 6, 2010, Kingdom Living Baptist Church was incorporated as a non-profit organization in Mobile, Alabama. ShaNeda Cooley was the first licensed minister of the church as of May 29, 2010. This day also marked the beginning of our Saturday night worship service. After some transitioning, we conducted our first Sunday Service in the home of Pastor Joiner August 1, 2010. TeAirra Ballard was our first baptism in late fall followed by the licensing of Martha Joiner. For the holidays we made it our business to demonstrate to the community the love of God. We coordinated our first Thanksgiving Food Distribution followed by our very first Christmas Cheer Toy Give Away.
Currently we have more ministries for everyone to be involved and benefitted from and we want you to get involved to grow with something great and continue the many visions our Pastor has for this church!
