KIPP LA schools have a school culture that embraces high expectations and a commitment to excellence. Our extended school day, week, and year enable our students to spend approximately 60 percent more time in the classroom than their peers in traditional public schools. The dedicated support of the KIPP LA “team and family” gives all students the opportunity to excel.

KIPP schools nationwide have been widely recognized for narrowing the achievement gap in public education and offering all children a high-quality public education. Nationally, more than 90 percent of KIPP middle school students have gone on to college-preparatory high schools, and more than 80 percent of KIPP alumni have gone on to college.
